Hyvinkään Ilmailukerho
Hyvinkään Ilmailukerho (est. 1948) is an active flying club operating at Hyvinkää Airfield (EFHV), less than an hour’s drive north of Helsinki. Our main activity is gliding.
Our fleet consists of 2 two-seaters and 5 single-seaters; we also own two motor gliders. We are one of the few gliding clubs in Finland using winch-launch with V-2008 Skylaunch. Aerotow is possible with our Super Dimona. A number of private owners also operate from the site.

EFHV – Operation fees 2025
General
Operation fees at Hyvinkää Airfield are used to cover the maintenance costs of the airfield facilities.
The fees are per aircraft. The landing fees for aircraft making short visits to the airfield are billed via PN (Prior Notice) notification system (link to the PN system is in the end of this section). Other fees are paid to the account of Hyvinkään Ilmailukerho FI62 1544 3000 2289 78 (NDEAFIHH). Do not include a reference number in the payment details; instead, enter the aircraft registration and specify what the payment is for (home-base fee/parking fee/season pass) in the message field.
Home-base fee
The home-base fee applies to aircraft whose primary location and base of operations is EFHV Hyvinkää. The home-base fee includes landing fees and parking fees. The season follows the calendar year, from 1 January to 31 December 2025. Obtaining home-base status requires contacting the airfield operator and receiving permission from the operator to base the aircraft at EFHV on a long-term basis.
The home-base fee is not charged if:
- The aircraft is stored in a hangar for winter season and leaves in the spring.
- The aircraft is not airworthy and is stored in a hangar, with no flights during the year.
- The aircraft is in the hangar of an aircraft maintenance company for repair.
- For a short-term visit (less than one week) to the airfield, the owner is required to notify the airfield operator with the aircraft’s details.

Parking fee
The short-term parking fee applies to a maximum period of two weeks and covers parking only. If the aircraft is flown during this period, a PN notification must be submitted for each flight for landing-fee billing. Alternatively, a short-term season pass can be purchased, which includes both parking and landing fees; the price list can be found further down on this page.
A parking fee is charged for non-airworthy aircraft.
Parking bays will be added at the airfield in the future; these are not yet in use.

Landing fees
A landing fee is charged if the aircraft has not paid the home-base fee or does not have a season pass. Visiting aircraft must submit a PN notification for billing purposes. The fees do not apply to state aircraft.

Season pass
A weekly or monthly season pass can be purchased for an aircraft, including both parking and landings. The number of touch-and-goes is limited to five (5) landings per flight.
